Our World: Busy Jeddah Souk

Down in the oldest part of Jeddah called Al Balad are some of the city's oldest thriving souks.  One can find just about anything the heart desires here.  It is a place where negotiating for the price you wish to pay is an art form.

Beautiful shot. I'm basically a professional negotiator. I got started while on a trip to Mexico City while I was in high school. I loved the concept of working for your price.

Do you have to bargain over fruit too? That would be a lot of work for me.
That's a really nice photo, Susie.

I enjoy going to local markets! And haggling/negotiating is an art here in Cambodia as well. Whenever I go to another country, I make sure to visit. Like Yogi, I am also a professional negotiator!
