Very Saudi Architecture

Geometric shapes and patterns are often incorporated into very distinctively Saudi designs.  Geometry is a hugh part of Islamic art.  The designs adorning this restaurant are not as intricate as typical geometric Islamic art but none-the-less, one can quickly identify this style as Saudi.

This I like.

The idea of geometry as art was strongly incorporated into the Aga Khan's delegation building here, with intricate shapes incorporated into hanging screens in a large atrium space.
