True Saudi homes have at least two separate entrances and two separate living rooms for entertaining guests - one for men and the other for women. Saudi taste in furnishings for the entertaining areas leans toward more formal and classic Persian carpets and elegant chandeliers are also favorites in Saudi homes.
Many homes also have another family living room in another area of the home where the family gathers together at their leisure. It is not uncommon to also have two separate kitchens as well. I have been in Saudi homes with 4-5 living rooms.

Wow, so many rooms. I hope these families hire good cleaning teams.
Their lifestyle seems even more wasteful than ours.
Hi Dina - Many Saudi households employ at least one live-in maid, if not more. They also have live-in drivers as well to drive around the women of the family, who are not allowed to drive here.
Hi Jerry - I would have to say that you are right. There is a lot of waste in many ways here. You should see the food at weddings or other functions - it's always enough to feed an army.
The carpets catch my eye.
That would house a lot of refugees
