Hole in the Wall

I wonder about the lives of the people who live in places like this. I believe that foreign workers from poorer countries are the inhabitants of these homes.

  1. Nice sense of initiative, just punching a hole in the wall when you need one.

    1. Hi Dina - I love photos like this because, to me, they are so interesting and seem to say so many things. I do feel badly for the inhabitants though. There are places like this in every area of the city. :(

  2. Is that an electric wire coming out of the hole.

    1. Yes, Jerry - It appears to be some kind of vent but I'm not sure what the wire is connected to.

  3. I do not think that it's necessary foreign workers who can live in such places, specially in KSA. In KSA many locals are poor and are left on the side of the society, not like in Qatar!

    1. Hi Anonymous - I agree with you. My husband is always insisting to me that there are no homeless here in KSA, emphasizing that there are many homeless people in the US. The abode in this pic is actually better looking than many other places I have seen here.
