This is an older villa with a metal gate which has a sun design on it. Private villas in Saudi Arabia are always completely enclosed by tall walls for privacy.
I would get claustrophobic by these gates but I think there is a courtyard behind it before you get to the house. Very nice photo of a very textural door.
There's a lot happening on this door Susie. The tile work and punched metal design on top is pretty special also.
