Saudi Arabia Sign: Makkah Muslems Only

Only Muslims are allowed to enter Islam's holy cities of Mecca and Medina, so there are alternate routes that go around these places for non-Muslims.

  3. This is a silly practice. It might make sense during the Haj, but otherwise it does not.

    1. There is nothing in Islam that says only Muslims should be allowed in the holy cities. Making these places off limits to "non-believers" is a really off-putting policy regarding the religion and its image to others.
