Jeddah: Holiday Inn Gateway

There is a new Holiday Inn in Jeddah, just south of the airport on Madinah Road.  It is a great location - just a 10 minute drive to the airport, even closer to the Mall of Arabia, and just a few blocks to the Jeddah Exhibition Center.

    The amount of glass makes it stand out. The Holiday Inns here wouldn't really go for that.

    Looking at this building, I know why I hate curved windows (you cannot avoid the reflection of the sun).

    Would I be correct if I assume that all modern buildings in Saudi Arabia have tinted windows?

      Hi Jerry - Yes, you are correct. Most buildings that I have seen do have tinted windows, many of which are reflective also.
