The top menu is chock full of misspellings - Scalope for Scallop; Lobaster for Lobster; Kocktail for Cocktail; Avocato for Avocado; Guafa for Guava; Romman for I have no idea what it is; Stawberry for Strawberry; and Cartot for Carrot.
As far as the bottom menu, I asked for the menu in English - and this turned out to be their English menu. At least I knew they offered Sandwiches or Houmos...
It's the same in Morocco, with menus. They have misspellings even in Arabic.
ReplyDeleteI think that Romman means 'Pomegranate'.
Ha! Almost more fun to proofread than to order and eat. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe "romman" is pomegranate juice? We say rimon.
That's a classic English menu! I love your previous SkyWatch minaret photo with the palm tree.
ReplyDeleteCould romman be romaine?
ReplyDeleteYes I think you are right, William!
ReplyDeleteAlthough it's listed under Drinks...
ReplyDeleteIt's Pomegranate Juice.
