The sun was behind the building in this shot and I loved the effect of the glow I achieved in this photo of the minaret. The photo below is the same mosque and minaret and shows the crowd at the street market outside the mosque after the Friday prayers.

Now that is a modern day minaret!
ReplyDeleteThat first shot is rendered quite dramatic by its lighting.
ReplyDeleteGuess you found me on Sky Watch? At wordpress they have a high security level because your comment was on moderation, lol! You are a brave one, and must have many adjustments. How long ago did you move? Also glanced at the flower festival - beautiful! Since I know S.Arabia as a desert, do they grow flowers in greenhouses - too hot outside?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Beautiful background glow in that first shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely-looking building!
ReplyDeleteGreat! Love to see it.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a modern minaret, and the glow of the sun brings it alive...not alive in the same way, however, as the crowd at its feet! Beautiful photos.
