I'm always taken aback when I see old living room furniture sitting outside a business or a residential building here in Jeddah. Actually I frequently sight furniture like this outside. Since it rarely rains here, getting wet out in the open air isn't a problem, but the dust sure is.

Periodically, particularly when there's a garbage day here, we'll see items like that out front. I hadn't thought of dust being a problem, but then you're in a completely different environment.
Hi William - These pieces of furniture are permanently stationed outside like this. They were discarded by someone and are outside businesses or buildings for people to sit on. Everywhere.
