Saudi Arabia: Homage to the King

Many businesses in Saudi Arabia pay homage to the king and other royals by displaying huge images of their likenesses on buildings or vehicles.

Hi Jerry - I guess it overtly show loyalty and respect for the king and his government. Connections (called "wasta") are very important here in Saudi so I'm guessing that a business owner might think that a display like this improves his personal wasta.

The banners are very big, which you'd expect.
