COMFORT FOOD, Away from Home & Family

My favorite meal of the whole year has always been Thanksgiving dinner.  I love turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and all the other foods that accopany this traditional American annual feast.  I love the leftovers too.  Being so far away from my family on this holiday over the years has been difficult. The traditional Thanksgiving feast is the epitome of comfort food for me.  Comfort food is the theme for this month's City Daily Photo first of the month post.

I love Thanksgiving food, too! Your meal looks delicious and your tablecloth is so bright and pretty!

Tom - I agree! I love the leftovers!!!

Jeannelle - The tablecloth is actually a popular holiday print here in Saudi Arabia, used a lot during the two religious holidays celebrated here, called Eid.

I'm not much for turkey but do like the trimmings. Hope you got to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving so far away.
