Our World: Birdman of Jeddah

Somedays when I look out my 6th floor window I can see hundreds of birds flying in the air in anticipation of The Birdman throwing out seed for them on his rooftop.  It's quite a sight.

But I pray you are not going to get the swarms of locusts that have been plaguing Egypt. We started getting some in the south yesterday.

How cool is that. Where we lived a year ago in Canada there was a woman who came at the same time each day to call the flocks to seed too. It is magnificent the way the group moves.

It is amazing how quickly animals learn and remember exactly where they can find their food

Pigeons leave a lot of poop around so I would hate to see the top of the building up close.

I really don't care for pigeons, they do a lot of mess here, but they surely make for a great photo such as this! Wonderful capture of the white roof tops!
