And maids are kept busier than normal trying to keep up with the dusting required to keep homes clean.

I can imagine that sand gets into literally everything.
I grew up in west Texas and we saw sandstorms like this all too frequently!! Terrific captures -- as long as you don't have to live in the area!! Take care, Susie! Hope you have a lovely "sand free" weekend!!
Wowza that is some sand storm. I used to live in Albuquerque, NM when I was young and remember that well. Sand would come in if we left the windows even a crack. What a mess! Be safe.
