My maiden name is Johnson, so I always get a kick out of businesses I see around Jeddah with the name Johnson. It's cool to see it spelled out in Arabic.
Hi Andrew! I have taken Arabic classes over the years, but I am no where near fluent. I've wanted to take a reading / writing class but have never been able to yet. Considering that I moved to Saudi Arabia at the age of 56, for me it has been a difficult struggle to grasp the language. However I would also have to say that my motivation has dwindled as well because so many people here do speak English and love to practice their skills with me. English is the required foreign language here in school, so especially the younger generation knows English.

Just curious, can you speak and or read Arabic?

I was wondering the same as Andrew. Thank you for answering. Do you speak Arabic at home?
Not what you'd expect to see.
