I love the colors and textures of the spices available here in Jeddah. The prices shown are in riyals (approximately 4 riyals = $1 US) and per kilo (2.2 pounds).
In some places in the Middle East we have seen spice markets where the spices are piled into high cones. Your photo looks like a much more practical way to sell spices.

Do you like cardamon (hel)? Its smell is heavenly. I start every day with a pinch of it in coffee.
