This is a section of the Durrat Al Aroos Resort Village, north of Jeddah. With its own harbor, this area offers many options for a nice weekend get away. The elaborate wooden window coverings are fashioned after the distinctive roshan of Old Jeddah.
Hi Jerry - They might actually belong to different owners, so they may have been painted two different shades of yellow. Also the sun bleaches paint after a while here and the paint can appear almost tye dyed. It also could be the natural lighting and time of day playing with our minds too!

The color seems to go from a lemon yellow on the right to an almost ochre on the left. Is that real or an artifact of the lighting?
I like the soft yellow on these first homes.
