Sky Watch: Deserted Red Sea Island

One of my favorite things to do here in Jeddah is to spend time out on the Red Sea.  This is the shoreline of a small uninhabited island that we have discovered that has a beautiful coral reef nearby where the snorkeling is phenomenal.

Our World: Dancing Dolphin in the Red Sea

This past year I've been fortunate to have spent a lot of time out on the Red Sea.  On several outings we have been entertained and followed by playful dolphins.  Most times I have gone snorkeling and seen some really amazing things. The coral reefs, shipwrecks, fish and other marine life are simply spectacular.  If you'd like to see more photos from a recent outing, please click HERE.

SkyWatch: Red Sea Dolphins

On my very first snorkeling expedition in the Red Sea, I took it as a good sign that dolphins danced alongside of our boats as we drove out to the dive spots. There were several dozen dolphins who put on a little show for us. You can read more about my first snorkeling experience here by reading my post about it called "Finding Nemo: Snorkeling in the Red Sea" on my other blog, Susie's Big Adventure.
