Almost every day, brickmakers can be seen out in the hot sun making bricks. Their lot is right next door to the Mall of Arabia, a beautiful modern high end mall that I have featured on this blog many times. I've tried to get my husband to stop so I can find out more about the process, but so far, no luck with that!

Do you know if these are sun dried bricks or if they will be fired in a kiln?
Hi Jerry - My impression is that they are sun dried. There is not much in the way of equipment in the area, which is just an open mostly empty lot. I'm hoping that one of these days, hubby will agree to stop so I can get more info about this place.
