UNDER THE HOT SUN

Once the warmer months hit, I get a little leery of the fresh produce that is exposed to the hot sun for hours on end each day.

Their prices are still cheaper than the clean air conditioned modern supermarkets though.

Jeddah Airport Road Sign

Jeddah's airport has four terminals - North, South, New, and Hajj.  Right now due to the Corona Virus, all international flights have been suspended indefinitely.  Some domestic flights resumed a few weeks ago.  The annual Hajj pilgrimage, when Muslims around the world travel to Saudi Arabia's holy cities of Makkah and Medina, will be different this year. Only Muslims who are already within Saudi Arabia will be allowed to attend in an attempt to curb the virus.

Jeddah - Two Perspectives

I love going down to the oldest part of Jeddah called Al Balad. In many ways, it's like taking a walk back in time.  I will often take different shots of the same scene - one landscape and one vertical.  And then I sometimes have a hard time deciding which one I like best.  Which one do you like best?
